Hi Chaps,
Just a quick update as to what I will be painting this month. Mostly 20mm German plastics from Valiant (I love the figure size even if they are giants) and some Zvezda models to give a little extra to my rapid Fire battalion.
The bundle above cost less than £20 which is a bargain. Not many other pastimes could give you a months hobby time for that sort of money. last month I painted over 30 Copplestone Chinese figures and although I will return to them I just needed a change of paint colours.
So the only question left is when will Valiant be producing some Soviet 20mm giants?
keep blogging Chaps it is fascinating seeing what others can produce! Sorry about the picture quality I had to snap these at the first sign of blue sky.
They look good mate 20mm is such a great scale for ww2 gaming and so cheap too!
ReplyDeleteNicely done. Not a scale I will ever neter into, but nicely done nonetheless. :)
ReplyDeleteOutstanding. How about a look at your Chinese.
ReplyDeleteLooking very good indeed.
ReplyDeleteNicely done, hats off to you working at this scale too. Mind you, you certainly get more for your buck with 20mm.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comments Chaps. I will post some pics of the Chinese as soon as I get some blue sky! As for 20mm I am a big fan, one just has to use a smaller brush and expect a little less detail!
ReplyDeleteThanks again, it is running up to Christmas so I had to reign in hobby spending!
The paint job on the Zvezda guns has come up really well. HAT do a range of WW2 tank riders that look good, I hope they will expand their range.
ReplyDeleteLooking very very nice!! The Valiant dudes are wonderful figures!
ReplyDeleteVery nice - I am torn between 20 and 28mm WW2 ;) my painting time is so scarce these days though...ho hum...
ReplyDeleteThe Valient 20 mil are so big they are the size of the old 25mm, I would go with those Monty, they are easy to paint, a battalion should be done in three or four hours. I am about to order the Hat tank riders, that was an excellent heads up Sun of York, thanks!
